Basho (Basha) Valley Trout fishing Skardu Gilgit Baltistan
Basho valley is indeed a beautiful place to visit not only in summer but also in winter season you can enjoy heavy snowfall. hidden in relative obscurity cradled in the mountains,lies the Basho or Basha valley it holds bundles promise for trekking,rare wildlife watching, water stream and Eco-adventures experiencing, traditional village life.
One of the most prestigious place i have ever seen good tourist destination, the Basho valley near mighty Indus river opposite of towering mountain B21 5828 meters Shigar valley in the north and in the east Astore valley.
tourist destination Basho (Basha) around 45 km away from Skardu district ,Gilgit Baltistan and at approx.10,000 ft high, this valley is surrounded by majestic snow capped mountains and flowing from them tiny water streams. From Basho valley you can see some noteable peaks B21 5828 m, bruknuk peak and Dummil peak.
Sultan Abad in Basho valley is famous for camping, surrounded by the dense alpine forest under mighty peaks. the valley has more to offer as the delicious trout fish attracts tourists in droves which is very rare found in Skardu district. Trout is a delicate fish produced in cold running waters in Northern areas of mostly found in Swat valley and Naran valley Pakistan.
This Basho (Basha) ravishing place is the home of the most hospitable people, now doing their best to preserve plant and wild life of the valley(one of the few projects of such kind in Pakistan) and also to raise tourism for this scenic paradise. The place might not have the best of tourist facilities, being in its initial stage, but being there you could forget yourself in this beautiful environment.
